Remove the subcategories and put all real cities under this category

So Category:Cities in Africa doesn't meet the five-article requirement to be a category. But noting this made me wonder about the others.

To cut to the chase: the continent a city is on is of no relevance to the Mario franchise. While very notable in the real world, the geographical location of a city has never factored into a city's role in a Mario game once. The closest thing to this happening is its position on the Globulator, which is a glorified menu. With this in mind, it feels like an arbitrary and unhelpful distinction to draw.

My proposal is that we delete the four subcategories and put all the articles formerly under them under this one instead.

To be fully fair, since the Metropolitan Tour there are specific tours in Mario Kart Tour where the racecourses are all of cities from a specific continent, one of those is ongoing now. While this is an indirect observation - the official Twitter account doesn't usually acknowledge the geographical consistency of the cities - it's a noticeable recurring theme among the recent tours.--Mister Wu (talk) 04:43, January 27, 2023 (EST)

For a non-series/game/console/etc.-specific category like Category:Cities in Africa, the minimum is five. (Not that it matters, since I'm proposing merging these regardless of size.) Ahemtoday (talk) 16:00, February 2, 2023 (EST)

That is a little under 200 entries. That's enough to bury all the cities that actually appear. We could separate them out, but we already have an article that lists all the cities on the Globulator. It's called Globulator. Ahemtoday (talk) 16:32, February 10, 2023 (EST)
