They're not actual signs and the function they serve is only vaguely similar at best. Think we could relocate or remove that info? --{{User:Lord Grammaticus/sig}} 13:51, April 3, 2020 (EDT)
:Well, this is the closest to what really could be said of them, and the article specifies they aren't necessarily the same thing. They seem sort of equivalent to how Star Coins are spent in-game, since it's on hints but not levels but the devs probably wanted an actual reward to exist for them. NSMBWii[edit]

They're not actual signs and the function they serve is only vaguely similar at best. Think we could relocate or remove that info? --ExdeathIcon.png Lord G. matters. ExdeathIcon.png 13:51, April 3, 2020 (EDT)

Well, this is the closest to what really could be said of them, and the article specifies they aren't necessarily the same thing. They seem sort of equivalent to how Star Coins are spent in-game, since it's on hints but not levels but the devs probably wanted an actual reward to exist for them.
