These blocks not only behave the same as Jump Blocks from other games, but they're actually called [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PAQU7JANL60 Jump Blocks] in ''Mario Party 9'', so this is more or less a one-off redesign. These blocks not only behave the same as Jump Blocks from other games, but they're actually called Jump Blocks in Mario Party 9, so this is more or less a one-off redesign. The main difference cited in the article is that White-Green Checkered Blocks don't drop items, but that's not something that was always done with Jump Blocks.
