The only name we have for this thing indicates these are the same thing (and to be honest I've always assumed them to be). Both are giant ridable birds made of sand blocks found in areas with noticeably (and probably intentionally) similar towers. This seems to be a comparable situation to [[Leaf Raft]] and the differences it had between the two games. Should this be a species? The Sand Bird was a living sand creature so maybe this should be considered an entity also? Though it also seems like it could be some kind of enchanted sand raft instead of a sand creature that acts as a raft.--Swooper888 21:54, 22 November 2011 (EST)
