I don't think we need this article. Unlike the [[List of shops in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars]] page, all of these shops have their own articles now, and it's too hard for me to read this list personally, with too many arbitrary bright colors like red and dark blue and the shop names tucked into small, wide cell (see [[Star Haven Shop]], for example). This list does not show anything that the other articles don't, and it is just a rehash of the inventory of every shop in the game. If we wanted to see all of the shop names together, I think we could add them to the ''[[Paper Mario]]'' article.

I don't think we need this article. Unlike the List of shops in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars page, all of these shops have their own articles now, and it's too hard for me to read this list personally, with too many arbitrary bright colors like red and dark blue and the shop names tucked into small, wide cell (see Star Haven Shop, for example). This list does not show anything that the other articles don't, and it is just a rehash of the inventory of every shop in the game. If we wanted to see all of the shop names together, I think we could add them to the Paper Mario article.

Oppose[edit]

  1. Camwoodstock (talk) While the visuals irk us too, that is by far no reason to nuke an entire article. Overly-bright colors are such a simple fix, that they honestly don't factor in for us; honestly, the column width is our main issue anyways. We feel like while its uses are rather limited, there's not really a better way to cross-reference in-game prices than this article; sure, you could open each respective shop's article, but... Why would you do that? And merging this to the Paper Mario article itself feels a little silly, since there's a lot of shops in this game. Add to that a bunch of the weird nuances such as variable sell prices at some shops (complete with "best sell" sections for some shops), and this article has at least something going for it. It's a quick and dirty way to see the shops in Paper Mario, it generalizes some interactions in them while not going too far in-depth, and above all else, it doesn't seem like it's hurting anyone in any way... well, except for maybe their eyes, but that's an easy fix.
  2. PnnyCrygr (talk) Per Cam + Snoopy's best friend.
  3. Hewer (talk) Per all, and lists of things that each have individual articles aren't unheard of.
  4. Dine2017 (talk) This article is useful for the reader as an information aggregate. It's not as much a maintenance burden as, say, List of characters. And putting it on the Paper Mario article is probably not a good idea because both articles are too long.
  5. Scrooge200 (talk) I actually found this article useful while I was playing the game, since if I wanted or needed an item, I could just go here and figure out wherever I could buy it. It has a purpose and we do have lists like this for multiple games, I'm pretty sure.
