Also
Toadette4evur has started another edit war with me on the Toadette page. As I was removing quotes even they agreed on the proposal to be gibberish, they keep adding them just because it's their favorite character. You can check the quotes, they are just as much what the proposal considered gibberish as the baby daisy quotes. Fixitup
- I specifically said that some where questionable. SJ derp :P
- Afterwards you did, and you left them anyway; also, none of them are questionable if none of Baby Daisy's were. Fixitup
- In my opinion those three quotes you have right now are fine. Can we cut back on the claims of people being biased on the history page, though? I'm pretty sure gibberish now means statements that have one word or no dictionary words (ie: "ARG, Mario!") or are shared by everyone: ("I'm the Best!" -all the playable characters in Mario Party 3). Am I behind on the current meaning? Stumpers! 23:18, 27 April 2008 (EDT)

Re: Nintendo Power
OK, I can do that. I can do it after school today, so it might take a little while. But I'll definitely do that. ;) .
- OK, I found the reference in Nintendo Power of Ashley and Red. I put it into the page. I'm not entirely sure I used the right format, though, so could you make sure? Thanks. And glad I could help finding the ref. ;) .
- No problem! And thanks for clearing up the format for me, I'll definitely use that in the future. ;) .

How do you become a sysop? I just want to know. Bob-omb buddy
RE: Travel Guide, April '08
Excellent work! :D I had no doubts that you could do good. It's really great for your first section, and very in-depth. Keep up the great work! — Stooben Rooben 20:20, 29 April 2008 (EDT)
- Hey, no problem! I did that the first time I made the obituaries. I posted it on 3D's talk page; ._.' didn't know I wasn't supposed to do that. XD — Stooben Rooben Can't wait to put the Fake News together!
-- 23:36, 30 April 2008 (EDT)Hi Stumpers!
Hallo Stumpers! thanks for motivating me at the University... I'm on the final exams of the (first) semester, and they really kick @$$es O_o ¢oincoll€ctor 02:17, 1 May 2008 (EDT) on the other hand, today is my birthday (may 1st) :D - and Stooben Rooben will be on may 6th!
Re:Thanks
Huh? Oh, that's nothing. I just thought Blitzwing should maybe talk to other users more nicely, an of course you weren't being a jerk. He maybe just doesn't want users to get technical with him. But you're welcome. CrystalYoshi
-- 18:23, 4 May 2008 (EDT)Hello Stumpers! and you are Sysop?

Just Saying Hi
Hey, Stumpers! How's it going? I hope it's well. I also wanted to say great job on the Fake News. ;) I knew you'd do well at the job. — Stooben Rooben :D
- Yep, it just came out yesterday. A lot of people didn't send in their sections though; I think I'm gonna have to fire Xpike. :O — Stooben Rooben 23:55, 4 May 2008 (EDT)
- Lol, thanks. And, of course you can stay! You're a part of the team, and one of the best writers. Seriously, I only found two (COUNT 'EM 2) spelling errors in your entire section! That impressed me immediately. So, keep on writing it until you don't want to anymore. ;) I can't wait to read your next section. — Stooben Rooben Actually, your travel guide made me ask for M&L:SS for my birthday!
RE: Happy Birthday and a Question
Thanks! And, the only reason I put it in the template, is because of Aunt Luigeena, who I'm assuming must be the sister of either their mom or dad. But, you remove it if you think that's what's best. ;) — Stooben Rooben 22:10, 8 May 2008 (EDT)
- No problem! BTW, how've you been doing? — Stooben Rooben 22:18, 8 May 2008 (EDT)
- Oh, I bet. D: Mom's currently on a hiatus from school (!) because she had 11 teeth pulled from her mouth. When she's better though, *shudders* I sense a mountain of homework. — Stooben Rooben I've made almost 200 contributions today!

Hey Stumpers whatcha doin? uper-Yoshi Omg Srsly, What is it like your 100th time playing Superstar Saga XD uper-Yoshi
RE: Peach Nomination
Well, it does look a bit better, a month or so ago it was only about two sentences long and had a bunch of spelling errors. So I suppose I can withdraw my vote. Glitchman (talk · contribs)
- Yeah, I see your point, but the section in question I couldn't contribute to. I have never played Mario Pinball Land before, so I couldn't expand upon the article without copying a source from somewhere else. This is why I couldn't back up my opposition with editing (if that makes sense :P) Glad to see the article's been fixed up a bit though. Glitchman (talk · contribs)

Hey Stumpers can you please delete the Great Giana Sisters page. Grapes

Peach images
Proves that I didn't really read your comments altogether. I didn't think of putting them somewhere else. Stupid me.
I don't think any else were removed, as I was undoing an edit which took back all images that were previously removed. - Cobold (talk · contribs) 18:14, 16 May 2008 (EDT)
- We did actually have a proposal which wanted images to be put into categories, so that a gallery could be visible in them. The proposal itself passed, but the problem is that images that are only seen in the category are marked as unused (and thus turn up in the unused list which sysops go through and regularly delete), so nothing really happened except for some entries in Category:Mushrooms. - Cobold (talk · contribs) 18:22, 16 May 2008 (EDT)
- I'm currently unable to follow you. What do you want to do? - Cobold (talk · contribs) 18:30, 16 May 2008 (EDT)
- Sounds like a fair idea. We could simply call it "Category: Princess Peach" as well, as categories can have both articles and images. - Cobold (talk · contribs) 18:38, 16 May 2008 (EDT)
- More than permission, according to the previous proposal we even should do so. =P Anyway, I think it is better than endless galleries of not really notable screenshots etc. - Cobold (talk · contribs) 18:54, 16 May 2008 (EDT)

Fake News Notice
Please PM me your Fake News section by no later than June 5th. There's a crisp, twenty-dollar bill in it for whoever sends in their section first! — Stooben Rooben 15:38, 17 May 2008 (EDT)
- Er, I don't really know – but I could suggest Twilight Town. I can picture you doing something good with that. As for which method to send to me: I do have an account on the forums, but if it would be easier, you can put it on my talk page. — Stooben Rooben 17:10, 17 May 2008 (EDT)

RE: Princess Peach FA Nomination
Awesome. I read it, and agree to all terms you listed, so I'm going to support this proposal. I never completely understood the rules of FA Nomination until now; thanks for clearing it up for me. :) — Stooben Rooben It's no wonder you're a Sysop! 23:52, 19 May 2008 (EDT)
- I always though you did act like a Sysop. That's why I jumped with glee when you actually got promoted. You're one of the most intelligent users on this wiki; you almost always have great ideas, you easily solve problems amongst users, not to mention your out-of-this-world edits. :D — Stooben Rooben 19:08, 20 May 2008 (EDT)
- Thanks! ^_^ I kind of fail at proposals though, unless I have your help. And, being a Sysop would be awesome, but I don't know if I'd do good as an authoritative figure. XD — Stooben Rooben 18:54, 21 May 2008 (EDT)
- Lol, I didn't intend it as an insult to myself. I guess it's more or less I'd be nervous as a new Sysop...at least until I got the hang of it. When I first got promoted at Userpedia, I was nervous as all get out that I might ban someone or delete something accidentally. :O Now, it's not too hard. — Stooben Rooben It's actually quite fun! :D 18:59, 21 May 2008 (EDT)

Hello Stumpers!! check this video! [1]. Birdoshi
Birdo
I have posted an explanation on Birdo's talk page. Yes, it may seem repetitive, but when you think about it, the only thing that needs to be resolved with that is rewrite the sentences so that they don't all start with Birdo is or Birdo did. It's actually more proper to refer to someone as their name at most times, but I see what you mean. I will visit the Vivian article as well. Gender controversy happens to be a large issue related to video-games for some reason. ForeverDaisy09
REALLY?
I wanted to nominate it, but I just assumed I would get a bunch of opposes. I'll nominate it if you think I should! I was also trying to create a voice actor template, but I'm not good with templates. ForeverDaisy09
- Agh! You even added my name to the interview! I was gonna do that also, but I thought that might get changed! Haha!ForeverDaisy09
Yes, alright. Here's some info like you wanted. The interview was done through email. Started [Fri, 5/30/08], and finished [Sun, 6/1/08].ForeverDaisy09

Just to help you: Xzelion's name on the forum is now "Axhole" (Ahahaha).
Nice section, BTW. --Blitzwing 18:06, 6 June 2008 (EDT)

Splitting movie characters
I think it is a good idea splitting movie incarnations of characters, especially Princess Daisy and the likes. I'd support a proposal in that direction. - Cobold (talk · contribs) 16:35, 7 June 2008 (EDT)
I would as well. I am thinking that we keep it in the same article though. For example, there would be a headline in Mario's article saying "Mario's personality in the Super Mario Movie". Clay Mario
- The inclusion or lack of allowed information has always been based on its significance to the overall series (For example, how important is it to the series that Baby Daisy said, "Eeh, he, he, he!" instead of "Ooh, ho, ho, ho!". Even though the movie isn't in the same continuity as the video games (there's not way anyone can argue that... I've tried to think of one but I can't), it is still a part of the Mario series' history.
- So, I'm glad that you are willing to look at splitting the pages as a solution. Not only will that clear things up about which facts apply to which continuity, it will keep users from pulling valid, important information off of the Wiki. What I'm thinking is this: we could connect the two articles together with a "Main" template and include a small blurb regarding the differences of video game and movie Mario. This would also cut down on the space issue in the character articles. I'd like to discuss this with you more, but I must get to sleep. Cobold, you and I should discuss both this proposal and the proposal for the MarioWiki:Canonicity page in the coming days. Thanks for your time, both of you. Stumpers! 03:35, 8 June 2008 (EDT)
- This way, we could also completely split the Koopalings, which already have entirely different names in the Super Show. They are currently only in one article because of their appearance being the same, but they appear in alternate continuities. The problem with splitting all these is, of course, when there's not only a single movie page to split, but numerous comics which all have their own Mario. We'd better be careful on how far we want to go with this. - Cobold (talk · contribs) 09:28, 8 June 2008 (EDT)
- I would say that the movie is the only thing we'd want to split out for now. As you know, it's the only incarnation of Mario that is universally recognized as not being continuous with the rest of the series. To do anything more is just asking for lengthy, heated discussion that ultimately achieves nothing at the very least. (I'm glad you recognize that!) I think a history lesson is in order about the Koopalings: they were renamed because back when the Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 entered production, Nintendo of America had yet to give the Koopalings official names. I really don't think a name change would be a good reason for a split. Think of it: Princess Toadstool to Peach. Jumpman to Mario. Donkey Kong to Cranky Kong. Stumpers! 16:48, 8 June 2008 (EDT)

Crossover Info Proposal
Yeah, I still think that's two much. 1-3 sentences should be enough. My Bloody Valentine
I was actually going to mention this on the comments, but it seemed out of place. I was thinking maybe characters WITHOUT SSB Trophies - Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest characters, for example - could get a SLIGHTLY more detailed description. Nothing TOO big, tho. My Bloody Valentine
I still think your example was a BIT too long. But, otherwise, that's the basic gist of it. We can always link to other Wikis, as well. ;) My Bloody Valentine
Birdo in SMB2
Is it confirmed that the Birdo from SMB2 is the character Birdo? I figured I could ask you because I think I remember you saying something about that in your "split page between character and species" proposal. CrystalYoshi 18:12, 13 June 2008 (EDT)
- CrystalYoshi, there are about 16 different Birdos in Super Mario Bros. 2, so we don't know. SJ derp :P
- No, it was only one Birdo according to the instruction manual, and, in the remake, the voice acting. I wrote more about it on the page, and no, it doesn't make sense that a creature could change her skin color, but hey, this is Mario I suppose. Stumpers! 18:29, 13 June 2008 (EDT)
- If I remeber right, the SMA strategy guide said "Did you know that there are exactly (can't remember the number) Birdos in the game" or something like that, I'll have to dig out the guide. SJ derp :P
- That could refer to Birdo fights, or Birdo incarnations...I've never really put THAT much thought into Birdo but I'm pretty sure that the description is of one Birdo. Goomb-omb 18:39, 13 June 2008 (EDT)
