The List of Implied People is a list of real-life people that have not physically appeared up in any form of media to this point in time. Regardless of their lack of appearance, the implied people have been mentioned at least once throughout the Mario series.

Annette Funicello

Annette Joanne Funicello (October 22, 1942 -) was a famous teen actress from the United States during the 1950's and 1960's. She is an icon of both the The Mickey Mouse Club and the Beach Party series.

Chronologically, her first appearance was in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! episode "Fortune Teller". The second prize of the Big Time Celebrity Prize Sweepstake Giveaway is a tour of Hollywood with Funicello.

In The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! episode "Mario and Joliet", Mario, Luigi, Princess Toadstool, Toad, and Romano step onto one of King Koopa's traps and are engulfed in a net. Toad cried out, "It's a net!" Luigi misheard him and asked, "Annette Funicello? Where?" Annette was born in New York and, like the brothers, is Italian.

Bruce Lee

Bruce Lee (November 27, 1940 - July 20, 1973) was a famous Chinese Ameican martial artist. During the events of Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars", when Mario discovered Bowyer in the Forest Maze, he attempted to attack him. However, Mallow held Mario back, shouting "Who do you think you are, Bruce Lee?".

Erik Estrada

Henry Enrique "Erik" Estrada (March 16, 1949 -) is an American actor. In The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! live-action segment "Magician, Harry Blackstone Jr. went for lunch with Erik Estrada after paying a visit to Mario Brothers Plumbing.

Mel Gibson

Mel Columcille Gerard Gibson (January 3, 1956 -) is a famous American actor. He passed through Brooklyn during the events of "Marianne and Luigeena." Marianne and Luigeena's noticed him while searching for Mario and Luigi. They quickly lost interest in Lyle Alzado and left to track Gibson back to his home. Alzado grumbled about Gibson stealing Marianne and Luigeena from him.

Sonny Bono

Salvatore Phillip "Sonny" Bono, (February 16, 1935 – January 5, 1998) was a famous singer and an ex-husband of Cher. During the events of "Cher's Poochie", when Cher arrived at Mario Brothers Plumbing, Luigi poked fun of her gawky childhood appearance. Cher then corrected Luigi, saying that he must've mistaken her for Sonny.
