Layout[edit]

The player will start off on one of many islands in the Heavenly Beach Planet. In order to progress, the player has to find five Star Chips scattered underwater; all of which are encased in bubbles. Once all five are collected, a Launch Star will appear that will launch Mario to near the top of the planet. This area has several Piranha Plants and a Wiggler, as well as a ? Coin that will produce a trail of notes that will reward the player with a 1-Up Mushroom when collected. On the opposite end of the area from where the player started is a ! Switch that will cause platforms to appear, and will disappear after a set time. Crossing them to reach an upper platform, the player will find another ! Switch that will create walls the player has to Wall Jump up in order to reach the Power Star trapped in a large crystal.
