In battle, they appear in large hordes. Up to four Skipdrill R's may dig into the sand and appear in line with one of Mario's four sides with only the lower half of their bodies sticking out as they move towards Mario slowly. As they do this, the idling Skipdrill R's will one by one float above Mario and try to drill into his head. Mario must [[hammer]] the Skipdrill R before it hits him to avoid damage from it, and must also face one of the directions the Skipdrill R's are coming from in order to knock it into a Skipdrill R in that direction and remove it from the attack. If Mario fails to do this by the time the half-submerged Skipdrill R's get close enough, they will suddenly rise up out of the sand below Mario's feet one by one, each one damaging him. A Region Map is an object found in the Beanbean Kingdom in the game Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. Region maps are first seen in the Chucklehuck Woods, later appearing in Woohoo Hooniversity, Oho Ocean, Teehee Valley, Gwarhar Lagoon, and Joke's End. A region map is always found on a wall. When the Mario brothers consult the map, a basic diagram of the area they are currently in is shown. An animated sprite shows the area of the region the brothers are currently in, while the blue sprites on the map show Save Blocks and their locations in the region.

Dreamcap R's are green, supposedly layered Capnap-like creatures that appear in Mario & Luigi: Dream Team. They are the stronger cousins of the Dreamcaps, possessing higher stats and speed. Like a handful of enemies, Dreamcap R's do not appear on the field, requiring Mario and Dreamy Luigi to enter battle with a Dreamcap Captain R in order to battle Dreamcaps.

In battle, Dreamcap Captain R's and Dreamcap R's fight in together in hordes. If all the Dreamcap Captain R's are defeated and any Dreamcap R's remain, the Dreamcap R's will huddle together and one will run away with each turn. If all the Dreamcap R's are defeated and any Dreamcap Captain R's remain, they will summon several more Dreamcap R's to then be able to attack. The group may also charge towards Mario as a pack, where Mario must move out of the way or jump over in order to avoid the attack. They may attack from the background, charging towards Mario in rows, which Mario must jump over or on to in order to avoid the attack. Dreamcap R's may also split into multiple towers, which will ram into Mario unless hammered away.

Additionally, Dreamcap R's sustain critical damage from fire attacks.

Dreamcap Captain R's are rainbow-colored, supposedly layered Capnap-like creatures that appear in Mario & Luigi: Dream Team. They are the stronger cousins of the Dreamcap Captains, possessing higher stats and speed. In the field, Dreamcap Captain R's wander around aimlessly if undisturbed, and charge at Mario and Dreamy Luigi upon sight.

If all the Dreamcap Captain R's are defeated and any Dreamcap R's remain, the Dreamcap R's will huddle together and one will run away with each turn. Pelicrump

Template:Dtenemy

Pelicrumps are bird-like creatures that appear in Mario & Luigi: Dream Team.

Pelicrumps are often seen stationary from a distance in the field. However, when the bros. get closer, the birds will fly towards them and try to engage Mario in a battle. While in battle, Pelicrumps usually appear in groups of ten or more. One of their attacks is flying upwards while carrying an egg. The egg will need to be hammered away once dropped on Mario. Occasionally, when there are more Pelicrumps, two eggs are dropped on Mario. Another attack involves the Pelicrump carrying a bomb. The bird will come near Mario, and either blast itself, or throw the bomb near him, which needs to be countered with a hammer. Pelicrumps also sometimes carry Bob-ombs in their beaks. Once the Pelicrump holding the bomb inside its beak is defeated, the bomb explodes and damages all adjacent creatures.

Skipdrill R

Template:Dtenemy

Skipdrill R's are purple drill enemies that appear in Mario & Luigi: Dream Team. In the field, Skipdrill R's move around at high altitude, drilling down into the spot below it if Mario and Dreamy Luigi run under it. If it misses them, the Skipdrill will get stuck in the sand it drilled itself into, and be susceptible to First Strikes. After some slight struggling, the Skipdrill will quickly remove itself from where it was stuck, and fly back up to the high altitude it normally moves at. It is a stronger cousin of the Skipdrill, possessing higher stats and speed.

Mario must hammer the Skipdrill R before it hits him to avoid damage from it, and must also face one of the directions the Skipdrill R's are coming from in order to knock it into a Skipdrill R in that direction and remove it from the attack. If Mario succeeds in removing all the half-submerged Skipdrill R's, this, the attack will end. If Mario fails to do this by the time the half-submerged Skipdrill R's get close enough, they will suddenly rise up out of the sand below Mario's feet one by one, each one damaging him. This attack can't be countered.

Skipdrill R's may also attack individually or in pairs by flying up from their spot and back down, either in front of Mario or behind him at a varying distance from him, with only one Skipdrill R on either side. The Skipdrill R's will then propel themselves either towards or away from Mario, who has to jump over or on to any Skipdrill R's heading towards him to avoid taking damage. The Skipdrill R's will never both propel themselves away from Mario, and the attack will end once all Skipdrill R's have gotten to perform this or have been defeated.

Cocoknight R

Template:Dtenemy

Cocoknight R's are coconut enemies that appear in Mario & Luigi: Dream Team. They have an orange plant on their head and white eyes shaped much like the eye holes of a Shy Guy's mask. They are the cousins of the Cocoknights, possessing higher stats and speed. Cocoknight R's closely resemble Coconutters from Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time. In the field, Cocoknight R's wander around aimlessly until they spot Mario and Dreamy Luigi, they will then begin throwing spears at them while they remain in place. Making contact with the spears results in the Bros. engaging battle with the Cocoknight R who threw it.

In battle, Cocoknight R's appear in large hordes. They may attack by making a ring formation and advancing towards Mario while holding it, who will either end up surrounded by them in the middle of the ring or stuck outside the ring. The Cocoknight R's will then raise their spears into the air and start spinning, the ring formation moving towards the foreground and background erratically. Eventually, the spinning Cocoknight R's will stop spinning and lower their spears, the ring formation moving off-screen via Mario's side of the screen and reappearing on their side, the attack ending.

At the start and end of the attack, Mario must jump over or on the Cocoknight R's as they encircle him or the area near him in order to avoid taking damage. Mario could also move out of the way of their circle, although that would inevitably end in him getting hit by the spinning Cocoknight R's. During the spinning phase of the attack, Mario must move away from the edges of the formation for the duration of this phase in order to avoid taking damage.

The Cocoknight R's may also surround Mario in a ring and have up to two of them one by one hold up their spears upwards as they briefly flash. The Cocoknight R's will then spin and rotate the ring formation in an attempt to make the player lose track of the Cocoknight R's who rose their spears. Eventually, the Cocoknight R's will stop and form up to four groups, one positioned at each of Mario's four main sides. The groups that have a Cocoknight R who rose their spear will have that Cocoknight R chuck theirs at Mario in the order their spears flashed at the start of the attack. Mario must face the group about to throw spears at him and hammer the spears back at them in order to avoid taking damage.

Additionally, Cocoknight R's sustain critical damage from the fire attacks.
