There is a fair lot of Nintendo Switch games that support one lone Joy-Con (e.g. [[Mario Strikers: Battle League]]), and fair few others that specifically require two Joy-Cons (e.g. [[Princess Peach: Showtime!]]). At the time of writing, there are no distinctions in Template:Input between the two scenarios, and the only current value shows an icon of two Joy-Cons. | |||
It is very safe to assume that all Switch games with Joy-Con support can use a duo of two Joy-Cons, but whether a game can use one Joy-Con is currently not accomodated for in the template. As it'd be a pretty big change even by my standards, I figured I could bring up the idea here, without creating an outright talk page proposal regarding it. Hey, Should we put the Super Game Boy as one of the inputs? ----- ConanShinichi! 10:39, 10 August 2011 (EDT)
Yo guys, not having seriously edited a wiki in years I'm trying to fix a serious problem with this template but can't because of my wiki coding skills. The arcade section needs to have "Joystick and pushbuttons" as an input option. This is not a "Control pad".--Clear Discoherency (talk) 16:37, 14 April 2013 (EDT)
GCN-GBA Cable
Should the GCN-GBA link cable be an input option, considering the section has information about transferring data between games and even using a GBA as a controller for GCN games? --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 18:46, 29 March 2018 (EDT)
- I don't see why not. What would the icon look like? 19:02, 29 March 2018 (EDT)
- Doesn't need one? Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix seems to be the example, but doesn't have it included in the template, for some odd reason. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 19:10, 29 March 2018 (EDT)
- Oh, yeah, there are some that don't have an icon. I'm dumb and didn't check before I posted that :P I'm for adding it in. 19:14, 29 March 2018 (EDT)
- If an icon were made, who can make one, so it can be tagged with {{pd}} and {{template-image}}? --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 20:10, 29 March 2018 (EDT)

Toy-Cons
Should we add Toy-Cons? I mean, it's used for SMO and MK8DX. Hugman (talk) 16:16, October 26, 2019 (EDT)
