#REDIRECT List of stages debuting in Super Smash Bros.#Saffron City
Saffron City (Yamabuki City in Japan) is a stage in the game Super Smash Bros. The stage is set upon the Silph Co. building, and is home to Pikachu and Jigglypuff. The stage has the most amount of features of any stage in the game.  On the right side, there are floating platforms. On the left side of the arena, there is a door leading down the stairs, but when one tries to go down, a random Pokémon will jump out and attack the player. Here are all of the Pokémon appearing in the stage:

Trivia
* Silph Co.'s name on the building is spelled as "Silf" in the Japanese version.
** Also, the banner on the left side is slightly altered between both versions. The Japanese banner has an example of Engrish in which it reads "Got a Catch 'em All!".
* The city seems to be modeled from the Pokémon anime, as the games do not show so much details in any city (not even in cities considered "big", like Celadon or Goldenrod).
* Saffron City is the only stage in Super Smash Bros. that did not return in Super Smash Bros. Melee, or have a stage that was extremely similar in Super Smash Bros. Melee.
