Speed Skate is one of Wario's microgames in WarioWare: Move It! This microgame shares its music with Reel It In.
Gameplay
The object of the microgame is to overtake the opponent in speed skating by swinging their arms to skate faster. Upon doing so, the racer celebrates as confetti falls from the sky.
- Level 1: The player races against a person in the daytime, and it takes little swinging to overtake them.
- Level 2: The player races against a polar bear at night, and it takes more swinging to overtake it.
- Level 3: The player races against an armored samurai who boosts forward when first about to be overtaken, with auroras in the sky. It takes a lot of swinging to overtake it.
In a megagame version of this microgame in Megagame Muscles, Level 1's visuals are used, and the microgame doesn't end after overtaking the opponent. Thus, the command is changed to "Keep skating!" and muscle is gained for continually swinging.
