Official Mario Awards Ceremony 1 Why? What?   2 Award Results   3 List of Awards   4 Schedule Why? What? The Super Mario Wiki was created on August 12th, 2005. On August 12th, 2006, this wiki was off to a good start, but still beginning and with a small community of active users. Now we are a big community and very vibrant, and with today as our 2nd Anniversary, at 1:47pm EDT, yesterday we celebrated the wiki with a Mario Awards Show. Award Results IT'S OVER! A good 15-20 wikians enjoyed the night, and those who had to leave can see the official thread (link above) for all the fun they missed. Voting statistics: There were a total of 62 voters. Some votes were filled in as "S" for skipped. There were a maximum of 62*30 = 1860 votes possible, but in reality there were 1693 votes, leaving 167 votes, or 8.978% of total votes skipped. The maximum amount of times a single award was skipped over was 18, leaving 44 votes as the low, occurring twice, although two awards were conversely not skipped by any voter. The mean of the # of votes for each award was 56.43 (91.022% of the max). The median was 59. The mode was 61, just one off the maximum, occurring seven times. Just 1 award had a tie for 1st, in fact a 3-way tie, A5. Awards in order by when presented, first to last.
