Hmmmm... Maybe you're right, but I don't think Nintendo would have done something like that, and the game is rated E, so I don't think it's what you think... It's probably her diary (but I don't know why it's Peach's XXX in Japan... strange... what is it...) --[[User:Metalex123|Metalex123]] ([[User talk:Metalex123|talk]]) 21:57, 13 February 2014 (EST)

'''XXX''' is commonly used in Pornography, to show that it is "XXX Super Hot" and other pornographic things. It is implied that you stumble upon Peach's secret stash of pornography. I don't exactly know why this is in the JAPAN version, though. It might be a joke or something.
:I'm pretty sure it's because "x" is often used as a mathematical variable </ruiningfawful17'sheadcanon> {{User:Misty/sig}} 19:49, 18 May 2014 (EDT)

But there are still some questions that remain unanswered.
In Japan, "xxx" means has the same meaning as "???" in English: it implies a value that you don't know, so it could be filled with anything. For exemple, that's why there is a manga called XXXHolic: It's not hentai, the title means "whatever-holic" or "it varies-holic"
Like what kind of pornography is it, who it is about, and others.

Is there a picture anywhere for this? I never played this game, so I don't know. HK-47 22:07, 13 June 2006 (EDT)

Nope. No picture. You never see what this looks like. It just says you found Toadstool's ??? when you examine a chair (or the wall near the chair) in Peach's room. --Son of Suns 22:10, 13 June 2006 (EDT)

Okay. I didnt want to look like an idiot. HK-47 22:12, 13 June 2006 (EDT)

Knowing Nintendo its probrably her diary. Master Hand

Japan[edit]

Sorry to add a section for this, but my psp would't let me edit a post. I was wondering about the use of her room... in the Japan version, it is XXX instead of ???. Just a letter? Maybe it means that she hides...
