The Café Key is an item in Paper Mario: Color Splash. It is used to unlock the gate to the Mustard Café. The Mustard Café Chef usually keeps the key on him at all times. When Mario, Huey, and the chef are thrown in jail by Snifits, the Snifits take the key and hang in up on the first floor of the hideout. When Mario collects the key, the chef lets him hold onto it, as he does not trust himself anymore after losing it. When they reach the surface, the chef uses the key to open up the café.
