Target Goombario

Charge is a move that Goombario uses in Paper Mario. It uses up one FP to boost Goombario's Attack Power by two for the next time he attacks. It is possible to Charge multiple times in a row for an increased effect. Goombario can use this move only after he is at the Super Rank.

In addition to Goombario, Mario is also able to charge with the help of certain badges such as Jump Charge and Smash Charge, and some enemies like Hyper Clefts are also capable of performing this skill.

Charge also returns in the sequel, where it can be used by both Mario and his partners with the help of Charge and Charge P, as well as by some bosses and enemies.
