Whomp Maze is a Duel minigame found in Mario Party 5.
Gameplay
The goal of this minigame is for players to make their way to the goal by avoiding the Whomps and following a randomly generated path they leave between each other. The Whomps are buried beneath the floor, but they pop out when a player gets too close. Players must walk slowly in order not to crash against any Whomps. Doing so results in that player being temporarily confused and unable to move. The key is to follow the path the Whomps leave between them and reach the goal before the other player. If neither player makes it to the end in time, the minigame ends in a draw.
