Art Practice is a downloadable microgame in WarioWare: D.I.Y. and WarioWare: D.I.Y. Showcase. It was released on January 13, 2010 in Japan, December 13, 2010 in North America, and January 14, 2011 in Europe.

Gameplay[edit]

In this game, the player must complete the picture by first filling the missing pixel (which is in a random spot along the circle every time), then selecting the fill tool, then finally filling the circle. When the circle is filled, it is revealed to be the baby face from Mario Paint, and the player wins. If the player selects the fill tool before filling the missing pixel, the entire screen is filled, and the circle has a frowning face with X's over its eyes. If the player does not complete both tasks within 8 seconds, the game is lost.

Trivia[edit]

  • In the code, there is a fully programmed alternate face for the circle, meant to appear if the player loses after filling the pixel. However, the only way to lose after that is to let time run out, and the face does not appear in that scenario.
  • The microgame's music is a rendition of the Graphic Maker music.
