Fire Pig Poppos[1] are fiery Gale Hawgs that appear in Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. They are colored black, have orange eyes, and are commonly seen with a red Ninjape on top of them. Fire Pig Poppos attack by inhaling, then breathing fire out of their snouts. Like Gale Hawgs, they gain large tusks in New Play Control! Donkey Kong Jungle Beat.

A Fire Pig Poppo first appears in the level Banshee Swamp, on the other side of a pit of blue fire. They reappear soon after, in the level Battle for Storm Hill on the top of one of the fortresses. They later appear in the same kingdom in the level Aerie Fortress. However, three Fire Pig Poppos appear at the same time on different platforms.
