After exploring a portion of the planet, Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong and Xananab will encounter King K. Rool, who will challenge them to a battle. When King K. Rool is defeated, he won't give up the Crystal Banana and he uses the remaining Crystal Banana to grow into a large size. After defeating King K. Rool a second time, he will give up the final Crystal Banana.
