Now that I'm looking a bit more into this (that is, looking at the cast rolls on YouTube), I'm noticing that the "Yum Yums" name only seems to be used in ''Twisted!'' and ''Touched!'', and it's technically "The Yum Yums", so this might need renaming. But also, in ''Touched!'', the names appear listed as "The Yum Yums", then "4.1", then "4.2", implying "The Yum Yums" only refers to the original three? But that's probably because "The Yum Yums" also replaced the first three's names in ''Twisted!'', where they were the only ones. It's kinda confusing, but hopefully the merge is still okay. But is it okay to rename to "The Yum Yums" too, or do I need to edit the proposal to include that? [[User:Blinker|Blinker]] ([[User talk:Blinker|talk]])

:No, I think it's okay amend the proposal for that small bit. The reason we discourage editing proposal is concerning large edits that rewrite the entire intent of the proposal. {{User:Mario/sig}} 15:50, April 22, 2023 (EDT)

Merge the individual Yum Yums' pages here?

Question.svg This talk page or section has a conflict or a question that needs to be answered. Please try to help and resolve the issue by leaving a comment.

The bear's page is tiny, 4.1 and 4.2 only appear in one game, and the elephant, pig and monkey almost always appear together. Considering characters like Kat and Ana, Dribble and Spitz, Ashley and Red don't have separate pages, I think it would make sense to merge these too. Blinker (talk) 09:24, November 20, 2022 (EST)

Merge all Yum Yums here

Okay, the idea is to merge the pages Mona's Elephant, Mona's Pig, Mona's Monkey, 4.1 and 4.2, and Mona's Bear here.

  • The Yum Yums are pretty much always seen together, and they function more as a group than as individual characters for the most part.
  • The pages for 4.1 and 4.2 and Mona's Bear are really short, and the others' aren't that long either, so the resulting merged article shouldn't be overly long.
  • Their Japanese names are basically "Monaers No. 1", "Monaers No. 2", "Monaers No. 3", "Monaers No. 4.1", "Monaers No. 4.2", and "Monaers No. 5", emphasizing their... "groupness" rather than their individuality.
  • Other characters like Kat & Ana and Dribble & Spitz are merged, and those are main, even playable characters.

This page will also be renamed "The Yum Yums", as that is how the name is presented in-game.

  7. Mario (talk) Most of these creatures are generically named anyway (with 4.1 and 4.2 referring to just the collective 4th members), and the first three animals have highly overlapping page content, so the merge shouldn't have too much issues.
