The following are Mario-related events that have or will take place in the month of September:

- September 4: The Super Mario Bros. Super Show premiered in 1989.

- September 8: The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 premiered in 1990.
- September 9: The NES Mario Bros. port was released in Japan in 1983.
