Moustache is a facial hair common in adults that Mario, Luigi, Wario, and Waluigi have. Mario and Luigi's moustaches are meant to give them a Italian look, while Wario and Waluigi's are just a parody of Mario and Luigi's moustaches and thus are angular and unrealistic moustaches. Many other characters also have moustaches, like the Millennium Star, the Eldstar and Toadsworth.
In the Mario & Luigi series, Moustache, under the name of 'Stache, acts as a statistic in the game. It gives Mario, Luigi, Baby Mario and Baby Luigi better chances at getting a "Luck" shot in battle, and makes the prices of wares in shops lower.
