Penpen are a species of malicious penguins featured in Donkey Kong for the Game Boy. They inhabit the Iceberg and can be first seen in Stage 7-3. Penpen behave similarly to previous enemies Aqua Man and Miira, as they slowly walk in a single direction, switching directions upon reaching a ledge or margin. Penpen are capable of harming Mario if he comes into contact with their front or back sides, but can be safely ridden from atop their heads. While in this stance, it is possible for Mario to lift the Penpen and toss them at other enemies.
