Penpen form a species of malicious penguins debuting in Donkey Kong for the Game Boy. They inhabit the Iceberg and can be first seen in Stage 7-3. Penpen behave similarly to earlier enemies Aqua Man and Miira, as they slowly walk in a single direction until reaching a ledge or margin, where they then turn around. They are capable of harming Mario if he comes into contact with their front or back sides, but can be safely ridden from atop their heads. While in this stance, it is possible for Mario to heave the enemies, and if they hit other vulnerable enemies when thrown, they will be defeated.

Two penguins who are good friends
Two penguins in a water mountain. They walk in the same direction while flapping their wings. Touching them from the side makes them miss, but you can get on top of them. They are so relaxed that you don't have to knock them down.
