The course is large, encompassing many different elements introduced in previous levels. All Minis start in separate rooms placed along the left side of the stage. Both the Cursed Mini Mario and the bottom Mini DK are initially blocked behind walls of Red Color Blocks, and cannot move outside unless the Mini DK at the top presses the Red Color Switch in front of him. Level E1-8 is the eighth course of Orbiting Observatory in Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars.

The level features two Mini DKs and one Cursed Mini Mario.

The course is large, encompassing many different elements introduced in previous levels.
