Headlong into the Unknown is a battle in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, the last of four tutorial battles in the game's prologue, taking place on the back of the Darkmess Manta. This battle is fought with Mario and Rabbid Peach, and introduces Sparks and the Technique mechanic of the game. The Spark Starburst accompanies Mario. Unlike the previous tutorial battles, clearing this one rewards the Heroes XP and Star Bits.

- Defeat All (13 of them)
Layout
The battle takes place on on irregular shaped platform with regular and short destroyable blocks, with two Stooges hiding in Partial Cover behind the short blocks.
Battle
The player must defeat all enemies to win the battle. The Goombas are weak (having 40 HP) and are arranged in a line such that they can be Dashed into.
