There is also a green colored version that some enemies use, such as Klumps and Zingers. To throw an Orange Grenade, the player had to hold Z and press C-left. This could only be done if the Kong had enough Orange Grenades. The Kongs can also throw Orange Grenade while in midair. Trivia
- In Donkey Kong 64, Klumps would occasionally get bored when on patrol. They would look around, and then eat an Orange Grenade, followed by an explosion in his stomach and a burp.
- An item that looks similar to an Orange Grenade in melon form appears in Donkey Kong Barrel Blast.
