In Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, the term Carnivorous Plantlife[1] is used to encompass two species of carnivorous plants: the Venus Trap Platform and the Chompette. Both species are characterized by a pear-shaped head, large mouth and gigantic stem, although there are aspects such as color and role that distinguish them. They appear in completely separate areas in the game, the first being found in Mangrove Cove of Lost Mangroves, while the other is in Bramble Scramble of Bright Savannah.
