The Anniversary Tour is the seventy-ninth tour of Mario Kart Tour, which will begin on September 21, 2022 and end on October 4, 2022. Unlike the two previous Anniversary Tours, this tour's name does not contain a number representing the anniversary it is celebrating.
This tour marks the end of the two-tour event celebrating the third anniversary of Mario Kart Tour. This tour features an upgraded Token Shop that includes items like Metal Mario, Pink Gold Peach, the Wild Wing, and three golden pipes. This tour also introduces the second set of two 3rd Anniversary Challenges cards.[1]Like the 2nd Anniversary Tour and Metropolitan Tour, only city courses will appear in the tour. This tour also introduces a new route of Sydney Sprint, which was previously seen in the course's appearance in the Booster Course Pass.
