I'm really iffy on calling the crystals in this cave ice just because NP says they are. They're not slippery, indicating that they're not ice, and most of the cave is just gray rock. The guide writer(s) probably just assumed it was ice because it's light blue and there are ice structures found here that serve as sub-areas. Let's not forget that they've called Thwomps "Thwomp Traps" before. {{User:7feetunder/sig}} 23:10, July 7, 2022 (EDT)

'''EDIT:''' OK, I went and ran around in the igloo and ice castle for a bit, and the ice floors in there aren't slippery either, so I guess ice just isn't slippery in this game. However, I did notice something else: those ice floors show the Kong's reflection, while the blue crystalline patches of floor in the cave do not, so I'm still inclined to believe it's not ice. {{User:7feetunder/sig}} 23:10, July 7, 2022 (EDT)
