Bowser's Castle has three cells. The first one is below the first Guard Door and can be seen from outside the castle. Mario falls into this cell after talking to the Guard Door, and escapes using Bombette's ability. The second cell is to the east of the first grand hall and the third is to the west of the second grand hall. Both of these cells are guarded by a Koopatrol. Mario can optionally defeat the Koopatrols and open the door of the cell.
