| The Big Boo is a hidden boss found in the [[Donut Secret House|Secret Donut Plains Ghost House]].<ref>''Mario Mania'' pg. 51</ref> He has two normal [[Boo]]s accompany him in battle. The Big Boo can only be injured when he is visible, so Mario has to throw a [[Grab Block]] at him at the right moment. Once hurt, he will become almost invisible, moving somewhere else and reappear. The Big Boo needs to be hit three times to be defeated. Mario or Luigi could touch the boss without being hurt, instead they must be wary of the normal Boos. Once The Big Boo is defeated, the new path to [[Star World]] will be shown.

He appears only in the [[e-reader]]'s scanned level [[Doors o' Plenty]] where he plays the exact same role to that of ''Super Mario World'' except this time he could hurt Mario by touch. Instead of Grab Blocks, Mario must use [[Ice Block]]s.
