Same but Different is one of the microgames in the Wario Bug's Anything Goes level in WarioWare: Get It Together!

Gameplay

The player must make both sides of Wario's room match by changing certain objects on the right side of the screen. The player can move objects on the shelf, remove objects from the shelf or objects in the air, and rotate pictures on the wall. If the player makes the two rooms match, the background will turn orange and the game is won. If the player removes the wrong objects, making it impossible to match, the background will turn gray and the game is lost.

  • Level 1: Few objects must be removed.
  • Level 2: An object on the shelf must be moved, or a picture must be rotated.
  • Level 3: Either few objects must be changed, many flying objects must be removed, or one of the objects on the shelf must be changed.

If two players are utilized for this microgame, the player that makes more changes in the room receives an effort point upon success; if both players make the same amount of changes, no effort points are awarded. The player that removes the wrong object loses effort point.
