Tank-Down is a Duel minigame found in Mario Party Advance. The name is a pun on the word "takedown."

When playing in Shroom City mode, the player, as either Mario or Luigi, faces Spear Guy in this minigame at the Spear Thicket.

Introduction

The player is sitting in their tank when the opponent suddenly appears directly in front of them. Noticing each other, both players move to separate corners.

Gameplay

Both players drive tanks and are trying to pound each other with punch-like missiles. Players attack each other by pressing A Button to launch missiles, with each successful hit taking out one heart and sending the opponent flying. The player may also charge up a shot that can deal up to three hearts of damage by holding down A Button but at the cost of moving slower. Since the arena is dark, neither player can see their opponent unless they are in the vicinity of the light they are given. Victory goes to the player that eliminates their opponent first.
