Moonview Highway is a race track appearing in Mario Kart Wii. It is the second racecourse of the Special Cup within the game. The course takes place around, and a part of a lit up city, which could be Mushroom City, at night with a full moon overhead. Players begin the race traveling through a field, and due the darkness of the zone, falling into the cliff or get hit by a car or a lorry may be frecuent by the limited view field. There are some Boost Pads on some hills, near to the highway, where players can wheter get an Item Box or perform a Trick. After passing the field, drivers cross a waterfall through a bridge covered in lights to enter to the city. Before entering into the city players pass a toll gate, where they get a speed burst, by passing over a boost pad located in there. Unlike the field, the road is much wider in the city, full of Boost pads that players get them to increase the speed. Once run in the city, the drivers pass trough a tunnel, now leaving the city, crossing another toll gate to arrive to the finish line. Cars and trucks are the main obstacles of this track. If a player collides into these vehicles, will be knocked over or even flattened by them. Bob-omb Car also appear in the course, causing them to explode, if a driver bumps one to get blown up.
