Adding collaborative videos to your Wiki

Hello,

My name is Avigail Perl and I work with all our Wiki partners here at Kaltura. As you may have heard, through a partnership with the Wikimedia Foundation, Kaltura has developed a collaborative video extension to the MediaWiki software. (http://wikimediafoundation.org/wiki/Collaborative_Video)

What this means is that ANY site using MediaWiki software can add the Kaltura collaborative video extension to its wiki easily and quickly today, by adding the software extension that is available for download. Looking at your Wiki I thought you might be interested in adding our new collaborative video extension. With this capability, any of your users can add images, videos and sounds to the collaborative videos created, or edit them using the full-featured online video editor (with full history and versioning similar to the text-wiki).

In order to add this collaborative video extension to you site, all you need to do is:

1. Apply for a Partner ID here: http://www.kaltura.com/index.php/cms/signup 2. Download the Kaltura MediaWiki extension here: sourceforge.net/projects/kaltura/ 3. Add the extension to your site

I’d love to discuss this in more detail, answer any questions and help move this forward.

Uhm...I don't know if you saw it, but I didn't rename dummmmy and Dry Bones because they currently are violating the rules on User sub-pages, they don't have them linked from their user pages. I'd have to agree and say that three Patrollers (four tops) would be enough for this site. *pets Hooktail* Hey, she didn't bite! That's one cool dragon you've got there! ;) — Stooben Rooben I think it's ironic (and cool) that two 'Shroom directors in a row have been Patrollers.

I'm in a dilema! EVERYTHING for Super Mario Wiki Adventures and MarioWiki Story is lost. My USB pen died. So I could either make a comeback (It'll take a LOONG time) or quit cause If I do make a comeback, My PC will be filled with Images and My PC is slow so what should I do? Continue or Quit?

Well, you shouldn't take it all serious. ;) German yes, English duh, Swedish I'm learning in my first year, I'm coming along quite slow. Latin - we only ever learned to translate it to German, never to write our own Latin sentences. Pretty useless. L33t - n0t 4ll t00 m|_|c|-|. However, I'm currently also learning Irish Gaelic. Patrollers

Okay, I have closed the patroller debate and promoted our patrollers to sysop. To keep a reasonable number of sysops, we should watch out on sysops like KPH2293 (talk), Phoenix Rider (talk) and YellowYoshi398 (talk), who have been quite inactive within the last month(s), and see if a demotion would be justified. Excuse me, RAP, but would it be all right if you and Hooktail became my friends here on the wiki? I didn't know that the proposal was added so I just deleted the section on my infobox that has my friends listed. It wasn't a cool user list, if that is what you were thinking. To see what I mean click here and tell me if that is OK. I only made one edit on the user page since your last response, so I could always undo it.

Glitz Hawk Morsel, huh? Gloomtail never stepped up to THAT level when he called me things. I've been called "Glitz" by almost everyone and "Hawkie" by him alone. It's odd, however, that I've never been called Glitz Hawk.
