Big Brain Academy is one of the microgames in 9-Volt's Nintendo Classics level in WarioWare: Get It Together! It is based on the Nintendo DS game of the same name, specifically the "Get In Shape" activity.

Gameplay

The player is shown the silhouette of a shape, and they have to select the two pieces that make up the entire shape (indirect attacks will also trigger selections). After the player clears the microgame, Dr. Lobe from Big Brain Academy appears and awards the player a medal.

The symbols to indicate if the player was correct or incorrect differ by region, like in the original game. In Japan, the symbols are a red circle and a blue "X" respectively; in other regions, they are a green check mark and a red "X".

  • Level 1: There are three pieces from which to choose, and the correct pieces are easily identifiable. Dr. Lobe awards a bronze medal upon clearing the microgame.
  • Level 2: There are three pieces from which to choose, and the correct pieces are slightly harder to identify. Dr. Lobe awards a silver medal upon clearing the microgame.
  • Level 3: There are four pieces from which to choose, and the correct pieces are harder to identify due to all four being less distinctly shaped and/or able to fit in the silhouette. Dr. Lobe awards a gold medal upon clearing the microgame.

If two players are utilized for this microgame, the player that selects both correct pieces gains an effort point, and the player that selects an incorrect piece loses an effort point. If both players each select a correct piece, no effort points are awarded.

Mission

  • Quick Thinking: Using all crew members, the player must complete ten rounds in the Play-o-Pedia with at least half of the time limit remaining.

Suitability

Template:WWGITFit

  • Kat & Ana are unsuitable as their constant jumping can touch the wrong pieces.
  • Penny is unsuitable as the water from her Jet Tank One can touch the wrong pieces.
