Template:Distinguish2 Template:Kart-infobox The Dragonfly is a kart in the Mario Kart series. It resembles a red tractor. The emblem is located on the hood (and behind the seat in Mario Kart Tour).
History
Mario Kart DS
The Dragonfly first appears in Mario Kart DS as Wario's unlockable kart. It is unlocked after the player beats the Nitro Grand Prix in 100cc mode, just like all the other unlockable karts in the game. It has fairly low acceleration, handling, and drift, along with high speed, weight, and items. It is one of the heaviest karts in the game; its weight is tied with the Rambi Rider and ROB-LGS, and it has the same speed as the Standard DK.
The kart is unlocked for Luigi and R.O.B. as well when the player gets gold trophies in all Nitro or Retro Courses in 150cc, and becomes available for everyone else when gold trophies are obtained in every cup in Mirror Mode.
Mario Kart Tour
The Dragonfly returns in Mario Kart Tour alongside a new yellow variant starting from the Amsterdam Tour. It uses thinner black and red versions of the Monster tires from Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Four counterparts called the Dozer Dasher, Black Dozer, Pink Dozer, and Ice Dozer also appear in Mario Kart Tour, but they are designed after bulldozers. This makes the Dragonfly the second kart to be introduced after its counterpart, the first being the Sushi Racer.
