When Mario finally finds World 2-Castle, he sees a Giant Spike Ball falling and crushing some blocks. after this Mario goes through an area with various small Spike Balls. Next he goes through a tunnel fille with Spike Balls, which he must duck under. He finally gets to a Door leading outside.
In this new area, Mario must dodge Bullet Bills. He next finds a ? Switch which makes the ground fall, allowing Mario to pass. He must now Use a Rope to pass over a Giant Spike Ball. If he goes up, he finds a Mini Mushroom to help with the Secret Exit. If he goes down, he goes up some stairs. At the end is another ? Switch, which allows Mario to finish the level.
Boss
Before Mario beats the level, he must fight Mummipokey. He must avoid its sand-balls, and jump on it three times.

If Mario defeats Mummipokey as Mini Mario, he will go to World 4 instead of World 3.
