Gameplay

The object of the microgame is to avoid being captured by Wario, who puts his hands into a box in an effort to capture the player's character. If the character evades him for long enough, the microgame is won. If the character is captured, Wario chuckles and the microgame is lost. Additionally, Wario appears excited whenever the character is close to getting caught, and flinches whenever one of his arms or hands is attacked.

  • Level 1: Wario puts one arm into the box.
  • Level 2: Wario puts both arms into the box, one at a time.
  • Level 3: Wario puts both arms into the box at the same time.

If two players are used, both players have to survive to win. The player that gets captured by Wario's hand loses an effort point or, in the case of Rising Star, a star. If both players are captured, no effort points or stars are deducted.
