Template:Minigame-infobox Star Catchers is a battle minigame in Mario Party DS.

Gameplay

Stars appear in the sky; when one does, the player, using the Stylus, must touch it. Any player who touches the most stars within 30 seconds wins the game. The first player is represented by blue, the second by red, the third by green, and the fourth by yellow.

During the ending cutscene, the winning player(s) celebrate(s) while their rival(s) perform(s) their losing animations. If everyone has the same score, they all celebrate.

Controls

  • Stylus – Claim a star

In-game text

  • Rules"Be the first to tap each new star as it appears in the sky. Whoever scores more stars is the winner."
