Template:Missionbox Chests in the Current is the second mission of Dire, Dire Docks in Super Mario 64 and Super Mario 64 DS.

Layout

To get the Power Star for this level, the player has to open up the treasure chests at the bottom of the first area in the correct order. Opening up the wrong one will result in the character getting electrocuted and the puzzle resetting, and every time the correct one is opened, an air bubble will come out. The order of the chests is as follows:

  1. The chest behind the whirlpool, next to the clam
  2. The chest below the entrance to the tunnel, next to some seaweed/coins
  3. The chest behind the whirlpool, to the right
  4. The chest directly in front of the whirlpool

Once all the chests have been opened in the correct order, the Power Star will appear to the left of the tunnel's entrance.

In the DS version, the third chest is removed.
