The old lady, played by Sylvia Harman, is a character in the Super Mario Bros. movie. She is an elderly woman of the Dinohattan dimension who often mugged people for coins.
She encountered Mario and Luigi after their recent arrival at the dimension, and intended to mug them with her stun stick after confirming they lacked a weapon.
