As it would, it serves as the entrance to Tostarena Ruins, located north of [[Tostarena Town]] and surrounded by various miscellaneous areas. In the middle of the entrance is a [[Checkpoint Flag]]. Behind the flag are a few [[Mini Goomba]]s, with a few more up ahead, as well as the start of the first platforming section of the ruins.
