I would definitely count the Sydney Sprint trains—alongside the characters sitting in it—as course elements, since they help relay various things on the track that affect the drivers’ racing. I wouldn’t perceive the Berlin Byways cars in the same way, however, since they are generic objects whose only function (so far) is to prop up ramps for drivers to drive off of, while standing perfectly still. Though, they would warrant a mention on the Car (obstacle) page should they display striking similarities with cars that acted as obstacles in previous Mario Kart games, i.e. if they share the same model and such. 20:19, September 20, 2021 (EDT)

Titles

Hello, unless you knew already but forgot at points, remember to italicise any game titles you name yourself, since a few of your edits were missing them. Small Mario sprite from Super Mario Bros. Mario JC 06:29, August 7, 2021 (EDT)

I just recently learned about them when editing some articles, so I sometimes forget to add them. I'll remember adding them next time.Wario (Cowboy) from Mario Kart TourWildWario (talk) 06:35, August 7, 2021 (EDT)

New stub articles

One or more pages that you have recently created have been deleted or marked as a stub article (Balmy Dunes). Please consider the following ideas and suggestions when expanding/creating an article:
 • Before saving a new page, be sure that you have put as much effort and information in the article as you can.
 • Make sure that the page follows all of the rules that are outlined in the Manual of Style.
 • Perhaps upload a few images that can be used on the article.
Please don't take this notice as a dejection; this is just an informative notice and we encourage you to keep contributing.

Two more things:

 • Please don't create a new stub article and mark it with construction, either to finish it yourself later or for others to finish it for you. New articles should start with sufficient information off the bat.
 • Remember to add navigation templates and categories at the bottom of the article; they're the text that looks like this:
Mario Golf Course List
MGSR

(If you're not sure which templates and categories to include, look at other, similar articles.)

RE: YCW Fly Guy situation

If an enemy's appeared in too many levels to count, there's really no need to list them. Just saying "Many levels" is fine. Small Mario sprite from Super Mario Bros. Mario JC 06:38, August 12, 2021 (EDT)

Media files

Thanks for those uploads. It's recommended on Help:Media that a fade-out is applied at the end, so if possible, could you do that for future uploads?

Also, please remember to italicise titles (even in image captions), you're still forgetting them in some of your edits. Small Mario sprite from Super Mario Bros. Mario JC 23:08, August 12, 2021 (EDT)

Okay, but do you have any recommended softwares or websites that can create fade-outs? Wario (Cowboy) from Mario Kart TourWildWario (talk) 23:36,August 12, 2021 (EDT)

Audacity is a good one; you just highlight the part of the clip (preferably about the last 2 seconds), then Effect -> Fade Out. Small Mario sprite from Super Mario Bros. Mario JC 00:00, August 13, 2021 (EDT)

RE: Luigi (Painter)

Yes, Luigi (Painter)'s outfit specifically first appeared in Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit, but is based on Mario's painter outfit from Super Mario Odyssey, which in turn is based on Mario's painter outfit from the Mario Artist series, so it should at least be mentioned that Luigi (Painter)'s outfit is based on Mario's painter outfit from those games. RE: Return of the Vandals

They're not the same, it's because of a popular Internet meme from The Simpsons called "Sneed's Feed & Seed (Formerly Chuck's)". Small Mario sprite from Super Mario Bros. Mario JC 06:04, August 30, 2021 (EDT)

RE: Underwater

I'm not sure what such a page would include to be useful. If it's the layout of all of the underwater sections, they're already covered on their respective course articles. It'd be too small as just a list of courses with underwater segments when it's better to just mark which courses have them on the main game pages. Small Mario sprite from Super Mario Bros. Jack Waitzkin

MarioWiki:Warning policy#Registered users, rule 2, 4th bullet point - They're already on a last warning, so a reminder was unnecessary. Even if they didn't receive a last warning, since they were already reminded about this issue before, the next step would be a warning. Small Mario sprite from Super Mario Bros. RE: Map Exploring

Please be patient, not everyone has the time to answer right away. I don't see why we need to note what's under the course; a lot of games have empty space when going out of bounds because players wouldn't see what's outside of the world when playing normally.

I would say it's an underwater section if the propeller appears on the kart. Small Mario sprite from Super Mario Bros. Mario JC 08:52, September 13, 2021 (EDT)

Moving files

After moving a file, make sure any articles that still use the old file name are changed to the new file name, then the old file name should be marked for deletion with delete since we don't want file redirects. You can find which articles still link it in the "What links here" link under "tools" on the left navigation bar. Small Mario sprite from Super Mario Bros. Mario JC 21:38, September 14, 2021 (EDT)

RE: User sub-pages

No, subpages that don't serve the wiki should be kept on your main userpage. Small Mario sprite from Super Mario Bros. Mario JC 23:39, September 14, 2021 (EDT)

It looks to me like they're keeping track of content from MKT and not created purely for recreational purposes, so I guess they're fine. Small Mario sprite from Super Mario Bros. Mario JC 00:48, September 15, 2021 (EDT)

Series

When you're starting new sections for series, since "series" is not part of the title, it shouldn't be italicised, so it should be formatted as:

Mario Party series
not

Mario Party series
RE: Pipe Plaza

You most certainly can write New Articles! Simply write the first edition of your section, follow the instructions in the read box on this page, and send your application in to our statistics manager. We'll be looking forward to receiving your application! Hooded Pitohui (talk) 12:07, September 19, 2021 (EDT)

You aren't bothering anyone. On the contrary, I appreciate the honesty. Sending it via Google Docs is quite fine. Please send the document to mwshroom@gmail.com We'll take it as an application from there. Hooded Pitohui (talk) 12:12, September 20, 2021 (EDT)
