Template:Minigame-infobox Tug-o-Dorrie is a button-mashing Battle minigame found in Mario Party 5. It features the appearance of four plastic-looking Dorries. Its name and gameplay are based on a game named tug of war.
Gameplay
The four players face each other on high platforms held by giant (red, blue, green, and yellow) plastic Dorries, each holding a rope connected in the middle to a bumper-like object. The objective is to pull other players off their platforms while avoiding being pulled off. The last player standing wins. If there is more than one player still standing after the timer runs out, those players are declared winners. If all four players are still standing at the end, the match is a draw.
Controls
- (Repeatedly) – Pull rope
In-game text
- Rules – "Pull your opponents off of their platforms by tugging on a rope. The last player remaining on his or her platform wins."
- Advice – "When the platforms move, you can't tug on your rope. Use this chance to rest!"
