Yet you still keep up the pages for Ryu, Ken, Joker, Terry, and all the Fire Emblem characters, despite them only appearing with Mario characters in Smash. It doesn’t make any sense. Also, if you’re just saying this because you hate PlayStation, just say so. [[User:Alex Brior|Alex Brior]] ([[User talk:Alex Brior|talk]]) 16:47, August 19, 2021 (EDT)

Skylanders is not a Nintendo property, so Bowser and Donkey Kong are guest appearances and we don't need to cover anything else. Super Smash Bros. is a Nintendo property that is heavily based on Mario gameplay and a lot of the characters, aside from a few in Ultimate, have crossed over with Mario before, resulting in several occasions where they would need full coverage for the relevant material. Though how much of that material we should cover has been questioned several times, Crash Bandicoot, nor any of its related subjects, does not currently qualify for full coverage here on the Mario Wiki in any way, shape, or form.

Crash Bandicoot links[edit]

Please stop adding links to Crash Bandicoot intended for this wiki, all it is doing is leaving red links since there is no page for him nor does the name even redirect to anything. The wikipedia page is what we use for those kind of links. Mario jumping Nightwicked Bowser Bowser emblem from Mario Kart 8 13:40, August 19, 2021 (EDT)

But he needs a page. It doesn’t make sense for him to not have one.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think Crash Bandicoot has ever physically appeared in anything Mario-related. Unless he does, he does not warrant a page on Mario Wiki. Mario jumping Nightwicked Bowser Bowser emblem from Mario Kart 8 13:44, August 19, 2021 (EDT)

He and Dr. Neo Cortex appeared as playable characters in Skylanders: Imaginators. Donkey Kong and Bowser are also playable in the Switch version.

That doesn't seem to be properly within the Mario franchise, the page here even only covers Mario-related aspects of it. Also, please sign your comments, this is easily done by typing four ~ at the end. Mario jumping Nightwicked Bowser Bowser emblem from Mario Kart 8 13:49, August 19, 2021 (EDT)

By your logic, Link and Kirby don’t deserve pages because they’ve only appeared with Mario characters in other games that aren’t part of the Mario franchise. Alex Brior (talk) 13:52, August 19, 2021 (EDT)

Kirby and Link have Mario Maker Costumes, Link physically appears in Donkey Kong Country 2 and Super Mario RPG, Crash has not been referenced at all in any Mario media, and the Skylanders game that first included Crash came after the game Donkey Kong and Bowser were made for Sdman213 (talk) 14:02, August 19, 2021 (EDT)

It's not "my logic", it's how this wiki works, simple as that. I must admit that I've never fully agreed with giving characters who only appear in Smash Bros either. Mario jumping Nightwicked Bowser Bowser emblem from Mario Kart 8 14:06, August 19, 2021 (EDT)

What about Banjo and Terry then? They deserve a page just as much as Crash. Alex Brior (talk) 14:08, August 19, 2021 (EDT)

Banjo is a playable character in Diddy Kong Racing (which was even his first appearance overall). Mario jumping Nightwicked Bowser Bowser emblem from Mario Kart 8 15:01, August 19, 2021 (EDT)

Okay, then what about Terry? He’s still about on the same level as Crash. Alex Brior (talk) 16:22, August 19, 2021 (EDT)

If it's Terry Bogard you're referring to (the only "Terry" I could find here), then he has an article for being a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, which as I said I don't fully agree with. I'm hoping by now I have made it clear enough why we don't have a Crash article here (simply for not being playable or even making an appearance in any of those games), because I seriously don't want to have to keep going with this discussion like this. Honestly, you’re not making any sense. Seeing as how he’s canon in the Mario universe, I’m gonna give him a page once I can, which is literally the only reason I made an account in the first place.

The page will just be deleted by our admins if you do so for the reasons I have explained here. And how is he canon in the Mario universe? Mario jumping Nightwicked Bowser Bowser emblem from Mario Kart 8 16:35, August 19, 2021 (EDT)

And as me and Sdman123 have said, that's not a proper Mario franchise game and we only cover Mario aspects of that. Keep going with this with that attitude, especially without signing your comments, and you will get a warning. This is not about whether or not I like Playstation at all (I even had a PS2 and PS3 years ago, and have a PS4 now). The reason we still have those pages is because there are lots of other editors who still want to have these articles up.
