|2=Owen's Gaming Tip No. 3: Puzzle games are there to test your skills and offer a brain-bending challenge. Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition is no different. It's pretty challenging, not only to move the Orbs around, but also choosing the right teammates and levelling up enough to stand a chance on those later levels. The correct Skills, Leader, Helper or Awoken Skills can make the difference between victory and defeat. Practice with the demo or on one of the early stages in the final game and you can hone your skills later in the game.

Try to balance out your collection with enough healing items, offensive attacks and defensive options so you can try to stand a chance. And don't forget that Thing you need against a tough boss!

|6=Owen's Gaming Tip No. 7: Imagine there was something you wanted to get so badly (i.e, an amiibo or a new video game accessory). Now imagine it was SOLD OUT after a few minutes of sale. What do you do? Get it on eBay or something or just head to a store once per day and hope for the best? In my Business class, I learned that if demand is low, but supply is high, the price goes down. If demand is high, but supply is low, the price goes up. On a few occasions, it may be best to just wait until demand slows down to a point where not a lot of people are interested in it anymore to get it for a cheap price.

|7=Owen's Gaming Tip No. 8: Scanning amiibo can provide many effects depending on the game you use them in. Mario Party: Star Rush has different effects that depends on which mode you pick, but did you know that you can use them in the Star Rush Plaza, too? Just press 3ds in the plaza to access the feature. All you have to do is scan any amiibo to see details, like fireworks, confetti, raining stars or floating balloons. Try it out sometime!

|8=Owen's Gaming Tip No. 9: For pretty much every portable system in existence, you have to check battery life. If your 3DS has a red light near the Power button, that's a cue to plug it in a nearby charger. If there's a flashing red light at the StreetPass indicator, you should plug it in almost immediately, otherwise you risk losing your progress.

Airplane Mode turns off any wireless communication to prevent interference in the airplane signals. Turn it on when you're on a plane and switch it off when you land. It could also help avoid an airplane crash.

|10=Owen's Gaming Tip No. 11: Ran out of cards in Paper Mario: Colour Splash or don't have a really good card to use? As long as you have at least 10 Coins, you can use something called a Battle Spin. The premise is that there's a bunch of cards that spin face down one after another. Spend 20 more Coins to flip each card around so you can see the contents as they get closer. Spend 30 more Coins after that to slow down the cards so you can tap the one you want to use; preferably a thing replica (unless it's against the Koopalings).

|11=Owen's Gaming Tip No. 12: Have you tried using a replica in Paper Mario: Colour Splash against a group of enemies? They work just like Things, but behave differently in boss battles. Using the Koopalings' weakness like normal lets you DESTROY them and let you crush them easily. Use that same weakness as a replica and you'll find some pretty disastrous results. Just search "paper mario color splash replicas" on YouTube and click on the first video listing you see to see what I mean.

The YouTube channel Ceave Gaming offers a whole lot of useful tips and tricks on how to do stuff in Mario Maker and tells all the tricks in most of the videos like a story. I highly recommend checking out the channel and subscribing to it.

|13=Owen's Gaming Tip No. 14: With the Nintendo Switch being region-free, there are many language and region options for you to see. Languages to be used on the Switch in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Russian, Portuguese and Japanese. The regions that can be chosen are The Americas, Asia, Oceania/Australia or Europe. If you know someone who speaks a foreign language, these options can be useful. However, if you are interested in playing the game in a unique way or to learn a new language, these options can also be useful as well. Just saying!

Languages to be used on the Switch in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Russian, Portuguese, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese or Korean. The regions that can be chosen are The Americas, Asia, Oceania/Australia, Europe and Hong Kong/Taiwan/South Korea. It could be useful to add some foreign names that aren't covered on this wiki or to play the game in British English, compared to American English (or vice versa). I know this isn't really a tip, but it's still useful and interesting none-the-less.
|14=Owen's Gaming Tip No. 15: With new video game systems offering internet access and online gameplay, it's important to do similar online procedures, like those taught during school. Never give away your real name, address, phone number, etc. because some people might use this info to do nasty stuff to you and some more obvious stuff. The Nintendo Switch Parental Controls app can help avoid some stuff like that in the end.

**This is not the case if I reported a particular offender using the Staff noticeboard feature. If that happens, then it's an instant relief card because I know full well that guy won't be around to cause trouble for quite some time.
*Undid edit by [name of user]. It depends. Some people accept the loss, others who actually have a reason for the original edit, like me, can get FURIOUS if situations like that happen.

*Users who actually still do the things they keep getting reminded of. Thankfully, if that happens, I know for a fact that someone else will step in to take care of it; whether it's issuing a reminder or blocking for a short, long or indefinite time.
*Users who actually still do the things they keep getting reminded of. Thankfully, if that happens, I know for a fact that someone else will step in to take care of it; whether it's issuing a reminder or blocking for a short, long or indefinite time.
**Someone making bad edits and having their edits be after one of my edits. I get "so mad" that I try to quickly find a problem on the page and edit it so that way I can feel better. Bonus points if another bad edit happens after I get rid of it. That's just a recipe of trouble waiting to happen!
**Any time my reasonable edits are immediately followed up with one of two possible results: either the very next edit after mine is vandalism (like what happened on the Professor E. Gadd article) or the very next edit undoes my perfectly fine edit for no reason or a pathetic excuse (e.g. the Boss Rush example below). If that happens, expect me to return to that page and edit it with a perfectly fine edit yet again (after literally finding anything wrong with it that needs fixing). That also explains the "Grr!" or the huge amount of periods before the actual edit summaries in question.
*People who undo my edits with an absolutely pathetic excuse. For example, on the page detailing Boss Rush from Mario Party 9, one user added some unnecessary info, in this case, the fact that a minigame is named differently in the European release. I removed it with my reasoning being as follows: "Should just be better off mentioned on the minigame page; which it already is. Besides, American names have priority over European names anyway." But, he undid that edit without even looking at my reasoning and randomly claiming "It has to be there, so European people will like it." Yeah, not buying that poor excuse of a counter. If that happens, expect me to behind my computer screen get mildly annoyed, irritated, frustrated, ANGRY LIKE ANYTHING ELSE or, y'know, a mixture of those. In sort, don't let that happen.
***Even more so if the next edit happens right after I publish my edit, like what happened with the July 6th edits for the Builder Mario page. "SERIOUSLY?!" indeed.
****And then there's users who intentionally vandalize and add an overload of swearing as a result. One such instance of one of those edits immediately following mine was on the Koopa Kid page. In fact, for the edit summary I was about to put "WHAT SORT OF--" then add the actual reasoning afterward, in a manner not unlike Larry when he's given a Steak cooked with Replicas in Paper Mario: Color Splash, but I chose not to, probably because I didn't want to get in trouble for those kinds of summaries again.
*People who undo my edits with an absolutely pathetic excuse. For example, on the page detailing Boss Rush from Mario Party 9 before it was merged into the main article, one user added some unnecessary info, in this case, the fact that a minigame is named differently in the British release. I removed it with my reasoning being as follows: "Should just be better off mentioned on the minigame page; which it already is. Besides, American names have priority over European names anyway." *Getting blocked. Obviously, no one wants that to happen to them. If it does, don't attempt to try to cheat the system, because it's not going to go well (e.g. try to sockpuppet after getting blocked once and the block gets extended; do it again and say goodbye to editing the wiki).

Gaming Tip No.

Hello! I'm Owencrazyboy9. I'm part of the Super Mario Wiki and edit pages when they're lacking one way or another. I even create pages that aren't even created yet and play a lot of video games.

Things on this Wiki Likely to Make Me Annoyed

  • Edit conflicts. Most people hate them. If one happens, except me to get confused and grumble.
  • "This edit has already been undone." Similar scenario to edit conflicts, but this time reverting someone else's edits.
    • This is not the case if I reported a particular offender using the Staff noticeboard feature. If that happens, then it's an instant relief card because I know full well that guy won't be around to cause trouble for quite some time.
  • Undid edit by [name of user]. It depends. Some people accept the loss, others who actually have a reason for the original edit, like me, can get FURIOUS if situations like that happen.
  • Getting a warning or last warning. Once again, it depends.
  • Users who actually still do the things they keep getting reminded of. Thankfully, if that happens, I know for a fact that someone else will step in to take care of it; whether it's issuing a reminder or blocking for a short, long or indefinite time.
    • Any time my reasonable edits are immediately followed up with one of two possible results: either the very next edit after mine is vandalism (like what happened on the Professor E.
      • Even more so if the next edit happens right after I publish my edit, like what happened with the July 6th edits for the Builder Mario page. "SERIOUSLY?!" indeed.
        • And then there's users who intentionally vandalize and add an overload of swearing as a result.
  • People who undo my edits with an absolutely pathetic excuse. For example, on the page detailing Boss Rush from Mario Party 9 before it was merged into the main article, one user added some unnecessary info, in this case, the fact that a minigame is named differently in the British release. Other Wikis I Edit Occasionally

Sometimes I edit other Nintendo-focused wikis in my spare time. These are the links to the other accounts. Right now, the only site I go on much more than the MarioWiki or SmashWiki now is WiKirby.
