Waluigi Time

Well here I am, the one and only Waluigi Time, running for Chairperson because no one else will. I plan to make big changes to the Poll Committee, not because there's really anything wrong with it, but I just kind of want to. My qualifications are that I'm a patroller and that skillset probably translates to leading the Poll Committee (if it doesn't I will just wing it) and also I have voted in polls. My running mate is someone you all know and love and of course I'm talking about Shoey, author of many successful 'Shroom sections including The Devious Workings of Phineas J. Shoe, What's in a Campaign?, and of course the incredibly well-written Word Search, so obviously he is qualified to be Vice Chairperson.

With that out of the way, it's time for campaign goals!

• All polls will include Waluigi, cereal, or both in some capacity (exceptions will be made if something funnier comes up).
• Options I don't want you to choose will either be carefully worded to make you feel stupid for choosing them or skipped entirely depending on my current mood.
• The Vice Chairperson position will be phased out and replaced with the Super Vice Chairperson. Since Shoey is going to be the Super Vice Chairperson I will let him decide what the powers and responsibilities of the Super Vice Chairperson will be at a later date.
• Poll Committee eligibility will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to supporting Team Cool Colors in 'Shroomfest.

Obviously I'm the most qualified for the job and my campaign goals are really cool but if you think you have what it takes to run against me please feel free to do so.

The Shadow Prince/TasteTheFiresOfHelp

I have been on the Super Mario Boards for a while (eight years, one month, and 23 days as of posting this). Lately since last August I have been posting many more threads in the elimination area, covering never measured before things like months of the year, numbers, and animated movies, so I consider that my qualification as I could come up with original and interesting ideas for polls.

Here are my goals. I think that they would have a positive impact and change.

• I would poll everyone on all different things, not just one or two. Things like ideas for upcoming games, date-based questions (an example of date-based being was Nintendo’s best year in the 2010s, or whether they did better in 2020 or 2021) or what idea for level design suggested by other users would be the best would appear.
• Options I wouldn’t want people to pick would still be worded neutrally and free of bias, or wanting you not to pick them.
• I would allow whoever wanted to be my Vice Chairperson that I felt had the best credibility and credentials after carefully looking everything over.
• Poll Committee eligibility would be determined by your character. In other words, how hardworking, reliable, trustworthy, but also likable your attitude is.

I'm going to allow Waluigi Time's campaign to remain here for the moment, and see how things pan out. He and I have discussed the realities of running a campaign like this and he understands a joke campaign cannot win and is willing to respect that and work with us.
